This sewing basket is lined with satin, I believe it dates to about the 1920’s. The latch is missing, the original hinges are in place and work well. The basket is in good, sturdy condition. Contents include: A tiny Red Cross button “I Serve”. The patent date on the back is Feb. 13, 1917. A basket pin cushion (Shaker?), a Grand Union Sewing Machine oil bottle with original box. The bottle is Hazel Atlas. A metal “Macey” needle case. Several shell and (?) horn buttons and other assorted notions.
