Vintage Mercury Glass Parrot Christmas Ornament

This little parrot is very delicate and beautiful!  It is vintage 1940's-1950's mercury glass with a bristle tail and metal clip to attach to the tree.  Mercury glass doesn't contain any mercury, it refers to a method of glass blowing which makes the glass have a shiny, reflective, often silver color.  This parrot is gold with pink wings and gold glitter on the wingtips. The bristle tail is in place.  There is no damage to the piece that I can see. The clip to attach to a tree or other surface is connected to the parrot with a tiny spring.  There is some discoloration to the clip, common with age.  This is the ultimate unusual vintage Christmas ornament; I very rarely see a parrot!
