Vintage Mercury Glass Bird Christmas Ornament

This little silver bird is vintage 1940's-1950's mercury glass with a bristle tail with sequins. There is a metal clip to attach to the tree.  Mercury glass doesn't contain any mercury, it refers to a method of glass blowing which makes the glass have a shiny, reflective, often silver color.  There is no damage to the bird itself that I can see. The clip to attach to a tree or other surface is connected to the bird with a tiny spring.  There is some discoloration to the clip due to age and it looks like the spring and the bristle tail may have been reattached with glue at some point.  I have shown this in the photos.  A great addition to a vintage themed holiday display!
