This Depression-era quilt features a log cabin block design made with wool, flannel, rayon, and what appears to be feed sack or heavy cotton fabrics. The back is a floral print in deep red and gold tones—likely a salvaged curtain panel. This quilt is heavy and warm!
Measures approximately 55" x 69", best suited for display, lap use, or a full-size bed (fits top of queen with no drop). Pink yarn ties dot the surface. Some wear and damage are present, as shown in the photos, but the quilt is structurally sound. A wonderful example of resourceful textile work during the Great Depression.
