This Depression-era quilt features a log cabin block design made with wool, flannel, rayon, and what appears to be feed sack or heavy cotton fabrics. The back is a floral print in deep red and gold tones—likely a salvaged curtain panel. This quilt is heavy and warm!
Measures approximately 55" x 69", best suited for display, lap use, or a full-size bed (fits top of queen with no drop). Pink yarn ties dot the surface, and the materials create a cozy, tactile texture. Some wear and damage are present, as shown in the photos, but the quilt is structurally sound. A wonderful example of resourceful textile work during the Great Depression.
