Vintage Hand Painted Wooden “Mother” Sewing/Keepsake Box

Hand-painted, hand-crafted wooden keepsake or sewing box featuring the word Mother framed by folk art floral designs on a black background. Interior is finished in red paint with divided compartments, ideal for storing sewing notions, jewelry, or treasured keepsakes. The dovetailed corners and tiny square nails on the base suggest early 20th century to 1930s.
Box measures approx. 12" long, 8" deep, and 4.25" tall. Lid closes securely, but the lock is non-functional due to the missing key. There's an internal crack near one hinge and typical surface wear including small chips to the painted surface, all consistent with age and use.
