Vintage Button Collection in Blue Tin, Bakelite, Glass, Metal, Shell & More, c. 1930s–1950s

Wonderful assortment of vintage buttons in a midcentury blue tin. This fun collection seems to span mostly the 1930s through the 1950s, with some earlier and includes a variety of materials such as bone, shell, wood, Bakelite, metal, glass, and early plastics. There are several matching sets, unique singles, and even a few buckles.

The tin measures approximately 7.5" in diameter and is packed full of buttons, many still strung together by color or type. I’m no button expert, so there may be some extra special finds tucked in!
