Vintage Brass Venetian Gondola Pincushion

Measures:  3” long

I’m thinking this may have been a souvenir of Venice from many years ago!  This brass gondola is being rowed along by a jaunty gondolier in a hat.  There are markings on the bottom of the boat in the form of a set of numbers which are barely discernible.  The cushion itself is whole but does have pin holes and some wear as pictured.  I am unsure of the exact date of this pincushion, but an educated guess puts it 1920 or a bit before.
