Measures:  2.5” tall, 6.5” wide, 5” deep

This sewing box is amazing!  The velvet is largely intact with some wear on the top, the latch, hinges and handle are in place and work well.  Inside is lined with light blue silk which appears to be undamaged.  The beveled mirror is in great condition with no chips or cracks.  The tool holder in the middle contains 5 sewing tools, 4 of which are carved bovine bone and one silver tone bodkin.  This likely dates to the late 1800’s.
