Mommy and me cat eyes!!!  These were too cute to leave on the shelf!  Both pairs include the cases they were found with.  The adult glasses have a lavender frame with russet accents and a gold-filled nose piece.  The temple arms have been opened wider than originally made and the earpieces are deteriorating.  I must stress that these are not an everyday wearable pair of glasses and may be best suited for decorative or costume purposes.  The case is turquoise with gold decoration and gold satin lining, it is in very good vintage condition.

The children’s glasses have a sturdy plastic frame.  They are clear with very subtle pink striped accents above the eye.  The case for these is leather with velvet lining.  The front of the case is stamped “Philip G Plourde, Optometrist, Van Buren, Maine”.  These are not recommended for everyday wear and may be best suited for decorative purposes.
