This beautiful vintage pedestal bowl was manufactured by Baret Ware. Baret Ware was a British company which was in business from the 1930’s to the 1960’s.  They were known for high-quality decorative metalware and enameled tinware featuring distinctive floral and scenic designs. The bowl has a sturdy base and a wide top, perfect for displaying fruit or decorative items, or could be used as a stand-alone centerpiece. There are expected signs of use: scratches, slight fading and some discoloration.  This adds to the vintage appeal and doesn’t affect the ability of the bowl to be put to good use!  This was almost certainly a favorite display piece for many years!
