Measures:  5.5" wide, 3" deep, 1" tall

This Benrus watch box has a gold-tone metal frame with a deep burgundy velvet exterior and interior and a satin-lined lid. The inside is marked "Benrus – Official Watch of Famous Airlines," reflecting the brand’s association with aviation in the mid-20th century. 

Benrus watches marked "Official Watch of Famous Airlines" were likely given to pilots, airline executives, or as promotional gifts for first-class passengers and VIPs. There are signs of age and use, all flaws are pictured.  This would be an excellent presentation box for a vintage watch or piece of jewelry. A great collectible for vintage watch enthusiasts or those looking to restore a period-correct display for a Benrus timepiece.
