Late 1800's Coquilla Nut Thimble Holder with Webster Sterling Thimble

Hand-carved thimble holder made from coquilla nut, also known as vegetable ivory. The holder measures about 1.5" tall and has a detailed carved design. The cover screws on securely. There is one small area of damage on the cover, not very noticeable when in place. Otherwise in fine condition.

Included is a sterling silver thimble marked with the Webster hallmark and “Sterling” in the apex. It is a size 8, not out of round, and has no punctures.

Featured item only included in the sale, other items are my photo helpers :-)
