Late 1800’s Silk and Velvet Crazy Quilt Tablecloth/Wall Hanging

Measures:  32” x 35”

This silk and velvet crazy quilt has several areas of hand embroidery. The letter “B” is featured in the center. The lace surrounding the piece is ecru and perhaps homemade but may be from France. There is no damage to the lace. The silk has begun to shatter in places, please see photos. The backing is a heavy red cotton. This has faded a bit. The lace has been attached with hand stitching, as shown on the backing. Overall, this piece is in very good condition and ready for display.
