H. Muhr’s Sons operated from 1882-1989 in Philadelphia, PA making jewelry, thimbles and cases for pocket watches.  The gold band on this thimble has 10 panels, every other one is decorated with engraved diamond shapes.  The Muhr hallmark appears on one of the panels directly below the size 8.  The thimble is not out of round and there are no punctures.
