Antique Wood Sewing Box with Contents from Various Eras

Measures:  4.5” tall, 9” wide

The box dates to about the early 1900’s, it is round bent wood with a black finish and gilt decoration.  It is very sturdy!  The contents are pictured and include a heart shaped pincushion with crochet overlay and satin ribbon.  A needle book from the 1950’s with most of the needles and the needle threader in place.  There are several buttons, a couple of thimbles, a button hook in the shape of a leg.  Lots of bobbins and wooden spools of thread and crochet cotton.  A little bit of everything!
