Antique Thimble Holder with Thimble - Leather Lady’s Boot

Measures:  2.5” long, 2” tall

This is an almost perfect replica of a lady’s boot!  Right down to the wooden heel and the leather sole!  The inside is lined with silk, white in the boot and purple around the top.  I suspect this was made in the late 1800’s – early 1900’s.  It does include the thimble as found, I don’t believe it is sterling, but it is nicely decorated with flowers and leaves around the bottom.  A unique addition to a sewing notions collection!
