Early 1900s Flemish Art pyrographic (woodburning) set in a finger-jointed wooden box, labeled "Pyrographic Outfit No. 3." This partial kit includes the original bottle with wick, metal tip stored in a wooden tube with cotton wool, and an amazing tin labeled “Flemish Art Absorbent Material”. The inside lid of the box retains its original instruction sheet—aged but readable—and reminds us that this was once marketed to children, complete with explosive warnings!
The box measures approx. 8" wide, 5" deep, and 4.5" tall. It has working hinges and latch, a scratch on the lid, and a stable repaired crack on the back near the hinge (shown in photos). A great piece for display or educational use!
