Antique Burled Mahagony 3 Tier Sewing Box with Slide-Out Tilting Mirror

Measures:  9.5” tall, 9” wide, 6.5” deep

This sewing box is in wonderful condition, the finials are carved bone as are the thread eyelets.  There is a slide-out mirror which can be tilted, the tiny knob on this is also carved bone.  There is no damage to the mirror. The pin cushion is in place, but I don’t believe it is original, there is some damage to the back of the cushion, please see the photo.  The drawers work well, all the ball feet are in place on the bottom.  I found 2 old, yellowed newspaper clippings in one of the drawers, I will leave them for you!  There are some minor areas of damage, these do not affect the stability of the piece.  I have shown them in the photos.  The bottom left finial was detached when I received it. I’ve repaired it but wanted to mention it here.
