1940’S – 1950’S Mercury Glass Bird Christmas Tree Ornament with Clip

Measure:  4.5” beak to tail

This little bird is very delicate and beautiful!  He is vintage 1940's-1950's mercury glass with a bristle tail and metal clip to attach to the tree.  Mercury glass doesn't contain any mercury, it refers to a method of glass blowing which makes the glass have a shiny, reflective, often silver color.  His beak is intact as are his tail feathers.  The clip is in good working order and rust free.
