1920’s Wooden Spool Bucket with Pincushion Top

Measures:  3” tall, 3.5” wide

I thought this was just a nice pincushion but then I discovered that the top comes off to reveal a space for storing spools of thread and notions!  The bucket is a very smooth hardwood, there is no damage to the bottom, there is chip out of the top, as pictured.  The chipped area has been worn smooth due to many years of use.  The cushion is a tapestry material with a white rose in the middle.  There are no tears in the cushion, only pinholes – to be expected!  I have included the 2 wooden spools of thread and old brass thimble that were in the bucket when I found it!
