This tin can be seen in magazine ads from the 1920’s! April Showers was launched in 1923 by Cheramy, Paris and New York. The tin features a rural scene with flowers draped over a green trellis. There is no indication of how much powder was in the tin as can be found on later Cheramy tins. It is in good condition, there are no dents, there is a bit of rust around the edge of the lid. In fact, it is a very sturdy container with many possible uses! The lithograph does have some signs of fade and wear, not unusual for the age, around 100 years old! Oh, and while the tin is very clean inside, there is still a definite whiff of the original contents! Those ladies loved their scents!
