1920’s "After Sunset Lightolier" Enameled Brass Wall Sconce

Measures:  7.5” tall, 4.5” wide

During the Art Deco period, After Sunset Lightolier produced a range of wall sconces that were very popular for both residential and commercial spaces.  This wall sconce is in good condition considering its age and has numerous decorative possibilities!  Lower parts of the fixture could use a polish or be left as is for authenticity.  The original cloth covered wiring is still attached to the back.  There is a spot of missing enamel near the switch, probably due to years of use!  The socket for the bulb is surrounded by a cardboard tube.  There is some crazing on the “candle holder”.  I would recommend this sconce be solely for display unless refurbished by a qualified professional.
