1920’s – 1940’s Blown Glass Bowl with Pedestal, ? Tango Glass

Measures:  5” tall, 9.5” across top

My research leads me to believe this is Tango glass, likely from Czechoslovakia but as I can find no maker’s mark, I can’t be sure.  Regardless, it is a stunning bowl, there is a 3-dimensional look to the top and inside of the bowl.  It seems a layer of clear glass was laid over the orange glass and then hand painted with art deco lines and flowers.  The pedestal base is clear and in the middle you can clearly feel where the pontil mark is.  There are a few very minor scuff marks on the outside orange glass.  This is not a shiny finish like the inside.  I have tried to picture this.  The bowl is very heavy, a nice quality piece.  It is an ideal autumnal accent piece!
