1910’s Tartan Ware “Prince Charlie” Needle Case and “Frae Scotland” Pin Cushion

Measures:  Needle Case – 4” long, Pin Cushion – 4” x 4”

I found these together and so they will stay together, like old friends!  The needle case is made of wood with tartan paper over the wood.  Hence, Tartan Ware.  It is printed “Prince Charlie” on one end.  Some of the paper has worn away, making a dark area.  Please see the photos.  Otherwise it is in very good condition.  The pin cushion may be a bit newer than the needle case, perhaps the 1920’s – 1930’s.  It is embroidered “Frae Scotland” which simply means “From Scotland”.  There are some signs of age and wear on the top, please see photos.  The bottom is in very good condition.
