This clock is beautiful and….. HEAVY!  I absolutely love the hands, the second hand is ornate, the hour hand has a half moon on the end and the minute hand is shaped like an arrow.  The face is blue and yellow with a gold tone ring for the hours and minute marks.  The glass is beveled around the edges and the base is solid bronze.  The clock will need to be serviced in order to work properly again.  It seems it was overwound.  However, it is a sought after item in the clock world and would make a beautiful display piece!  Juvenia was founded in Saint – Imier, Switzerland in 1860 by Jacques Didishiem.  The company was named in tribute to his wife, Juvenia.
