1890’s English Sterling Silver Thimble with Leather Presentation Case

This ornately decorated thimble was made by Botly & Lewis of Reading, Berkshire, England in approximately 1895.  It is in the original presentation case which is leather, lined with plush velvet and silk.  The case in very good condition with just one area of damage, please see photo.  The latch and hinges work fine.  The thimble is deeply engraved, has no punctures and is not out of round.  The hallmarks appear on the lower band.
