Measures:  5.5” long, 2.5” tall

This little shoe was hand carved long ago!  The information I was given at the time of purchase indicates that it was made around 1880.  It was painted black and has a lovely yellow decorative stripe around the bottom of the shoe and the cover.  It may have also been intended as an inkwell, there are some darker black spots on one side of the shoe which may very well be ink!
