1880’s – 1910’s Mauchline Ware Tiny Bucket Pincushion

Measures:  2.5” tall, 1.5” wide

What an adorable little bucket!!  The wooden bail is perfect and swings in both directions.  The green velvet cushion is in very good condition.  There is one tiny chip on the back near the edge as shown in the photos.  The photo on front is “Old Spanish Fort & Moat St. Augustine”.

Mauchline Ware is so named because it was produced in or near a small town called Mauchline in Scotland.  It is made of sycamore and often had transfer photos of popular tourist destinations.  It was produced from the mid 1800’s until 1933 when the last Mauchline Ware factory was destroyed by fire.
