Vintage Geared Wooden Weaving Shuttle

Measures:  3.5” tall, 4.5” wide

I picked this up solely based on the look, I didn’t even know what it was!  After some research, I have learned that it is a weaving shuttle.  The wooden spool of thread is cotton.  The wood of the shuttle has a fantastic patina.  I’m not sure how old the piece is but it has a definite vintage look!
