Vintage Bronte Yorkshire Liqueur Bottle

Measures:  5.5” tall, 3” wide at bottom

I thought this bottle would be perfect for a small bouquet on an intimate dinner table!  That was even before I knew the interesting history behind the original contents!  The liqueur was made in Yorkshire, England.  The ingredients include blackberries, sloe berries, honey and jasmine.  The man behind this liqueur is Sir James Aykroyd.  His great grandfather, Sir James Roberts bought the Haworth Village Parsonage (where the Bronte sisters grew up) and gifted it to the Bronte Society in 1928!  There are no chips or cracks in the bottle, the labels are perfectly in place, as is the tax stamp on the back.
