Victorian Era Spool Holder with Original Pin Cushion

Measures:  7” tall, 4.5” wide at bottom

What an amazing patina, well earned over the past 130+ years! The original spool spindles as well as the original pincushion are in place.  This piece is in wonderful condition, with just one small split on the bottom round, as pictured. This does not affect the stability of the piece. Some of the finish has rubbed away or darkened due to years of use. The velvet pincushion is firmly attached. It has a couple of small areas where use is evident. The feet on the bottom are in place and well attached. There is a number marked on the bottom which I believe indicates an auction lot number (why do they do this??). The four wooden spools of thread are included.
