Mauchline Ware Pin Disk, Summit of Mt. Washington

This Mauchline Ware pin disk features a transfer image of the Summit of Mt. Washington and was made in Scotland, likely in the late 1800s to early 1900s.

It is in very good condition with light, age-appropriate wear. The transfer image remains clear, and the red velvet is intact. There are small marks consistent with age and use.

Measures 1.5" in diameter.

Mauchline Ware is so named because it was produced in or near a small town called Mauchline in Scotland. It is made of sycamore and often had transfer photos of popular tourist destinations. It was produced from the mid 1800’s until 1933 when the last Mauchline Ware factory was destroyed by fire.
