Measures:  Chair – 14” tall, 8” wide, 7.5” deep, Chair Pad – 9” across

A sturdy little chair with so many possibilities!  It has survived the years very well.  There is very little damage, and it has the original paint.  This may be a Heywood Wakefield piece but there is no label that I can see. 

The chair pad is silk and has a label that reads “Made in France Expressly for B. Altman & Co. Fifth Avenue New York”.  The silk has begun to shatter in places, but it is a beautiful piece.  I believe this dates to the same era as the chair.  This may not have originally been a chair pad, but these were found together and look so nice I can’t bear to part them!
