This Western Electric sewing machine comes in its original wooden case. The pair date to the 1910s–1920s. The machine turns very smoothly by hand (see video). The needle and feed dogs work as they should. The motor folds in and out properly and hums when plugged in with the foot pedal engaged. The original cord and foot pedal are with the machine. The drive belt is currently missing, so while it appears it would run, it has not been tested under power.
The machine and case are both in very good vintage condition. The case is sturdy with expected wear for age, and the machine shows light surface wear consistent with years of use. Great for display or restoration!
