Webster Co. Sterling Silver Thimble, Size 7, Engraved “Dollie” (#7)

The Webster Co. of North Attleboro, MA was founded in 1869 by George Webster.  The company became part of Reed and Barton in 1950.  This thimble likely dates to the late 1800’s to early 1900’s.  The decoration is deeply engraved into the band, the name “Dollie” appears on the band as well.  It is hallmarked in the apex.  There are no punctures and it is not out of round.
