Vintage Jewelry Casket, Brass and Amber Glass

Measures:  3” tall, 6” wide, 4” deep

What a beautiful place to keep extra special jewelry!  The glass in the top is beveled and amber colored, quite unusual.  There is fanciful filigree on the gilt brass, there is no glass behind the filigree, the velvet in the bottom is in wonderful condition.  The feet are in place and undamaged.  The velvet covered bottom piece on the outside has started to come away a bit, I have pictured this.  It doesn’t affect the integrity of the piece at all.  I would estimate that this dates to the 1920’s – 1950’s.
