Vintage Folk Art Spool Holder with Sterling Silver Thimble and Spools

Measures:  7” tall, 5” wide

A little spool holder, handmade probably around the 1940’s – 1950’s, perhaps earlier.  The bottom round turns, the top is stationary.  Included are 10 vintage spools of thread, some are silks.  The thimble is sterling, it is hallmarked in the apex.  This is an early Simons Bros – size 11 I believe.  It is slightly out of round and has been well used but has no punctures.
