Sterling Silver Thimble, Simons Bros. Size 8

Simons Bros of Philadelphia, PA was started in 1839 by George Washington Simons, at that time, they were manufacturers of gold and silver thimbles and pencil cases.  The company grew rapidly from there, expanding to include many gold and silver items including (!) tooth and ear picks, earrings and finger rings.  This thimble is not out of round and has no punctures, it is absolutely beautiful!
