Measures:  6” tall, 7” wide

This is a very sturdy, unusual piece!  It is carved out of a dense hardwood with the bark still in place around the top and bottom edges.  There are pegs for 4 spools, a thimble and pin cushion holder around the top.  The cushion is no longer in place.  Inside there is plenty of room for scissors, measuring tapes and other necessities.  I am including all the spools and the sterling silver thimble.  The thimble is hallmarked Ketchum and McDougall, is a size 8 and has the initials L.V. on the bottom edge.  It is not out of round and there are no punctures.
