Mid Century Sewing Kit for Travel or Purse, Made in Germany

Measures: 2” long

This is an enamel on brass vintage sewing kit or etui which includes a brass thimble and thread wound on a spool.  There is a place for needles within the spool, this has a brass cap.  There is a needle and a safety pin in place.  The colors on the case are marbleized, vibrant and flowing, red, orange, and yellow.  The original tassel with silk threads is in place.  There is some very slight chipping around the edge of the cover.  The brass on the inside rim is stamped “Made in Germany”.  What a cheerful little sewing kit!
