Mauchline Ware Bowl & Napkin Ring Set – Dundee & World’s Columbian Exposition

Antique Mauchline ware set including a small bowl featuring a transfer of the Building for Manufacture & Liberal Arts from the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition, Chicago, and a napkin ring with a transfer of the Old Steeple & Churches, Dundee. Both pieces are in very good condition. The bowl measures approximately 3.25" in diameter, and the napkin ring measures 2" in diameter.

Mauchline Ware is so named because it was produced in or near a small town called Mauchline in Scotland. It is made of sycamore and often had transfer photos of popular tourist destinations. It was produced from the mid 1800’s until 1933 when the last Mauchline Ware factory was destroyed by fire.
