This quilt is in very good condition.  This is a wonderful example of the textiles of the era as well as the stitching techniques used for quilting. There are a few areas where the silk has shattered. There are a couple of spotted areas as pictured. The quilt backing is in place and has little to no damage, I believe it is the original backing.
