Early Handmade Needle Case, Cotton and Velvet

Measures:  4” x 2.75”

I think the cover on this piece may have hand painted material on it.  It is very delicate.  The “binding” of the book is hand stitched, holding the halves together.  The back panel is black velvet with just a bit of wear on the edges.  Inside the flannel has hand stitched edges and several old needles are still in place.
