Early 1900’s Treenware Case for Sewing Kit

Measures:  3” tall

This pretty little piece of Treenware features the Treasury Building in Washington DC.  Inside, there is a wooden dowel with a hollow center.  I believe this was meant for a spool of thread and a place to store a needle or two.  There are no chips or cracks, and the finish has a nicely aged patina.
