This adorable egg-shaped darner and needle case is a joy to behold and a joy to hold!  It fits the hand perfectly and has a nice weight to it.  The finish has a very nice crazing which comes with age.  It has a rotating top which allows you choose the size needle you want to use.  This was made by Hanov in Newark, NJ – patent date is not on the piece as it reads “pat applied for”.   I have been looking for one of these for some time and finally found this one on a recent trip to Camden, Maine!
