Early 1900’s Photo Frame, Velvet and Silk

Measures:  5.25” tall, 4” wide.  Photo opening:  3”X2”

This beautiful old frame likely dates to the 1920’s.  It has metal around the edges, deep purple velvet and brownish velvet with silk ribbon decoration around the oval photo frame.  The glass is in place and has no chips or cracks.  One of the ribbons is a bit askew, the metal has some slight discoloration and the paper backing is showing signs of wear.  The velvet, though, is plush and the ribbons are not torn and have a floral design.  This would be perfect for a little piece of needlework!!
