Early 1900’s Higgins Toilet Soap Box with Assorted Buttons

Measures:  7” wide, 3.5” deep, 2.5” tall

A pretty old wooden soap box with a warm patina, the latch works very well as do the hinges.  The label inside the cover has no tears.  Each corner of the label features either an insect or bird, which is very interesting as symbols for soap!  I especially like the spider…..  The box itself is in very good condition.  The buttons are a mixture of metal, bone and shell as well as a few that I believe are Bakelite and some plastic.  A lot of them match!
