Early 1900’s Hand Made Sewing Caddy with Original Silk Pin Cushion

Measures:  5” tall, 6” wide, 4.5” deep

Likely dates to the 1920’s, perhaps a bit earlier.  The original silk pin cushion is in very good condition with a bit of discoloration due to age.  The drawer slides easily and has no damage.  The slightly chippy paint on the drawer looks like a different shade than the rest of the caddy.  This may have been intentional, or the maker may have run out of paint!  There are 6 spool holders, the Coats & Clark wooden spools of thread are included.  There are a couple of little splits, one on the front and two on the side.  Please see the photos.  These do not affect the stability of the piece at all.  A super cute little caddy, perhaps it was a Christmas gift – the red and green make me think it was!
