Measures:  2” long

The coquilla nut is the fruit of the Brazilian Palm.  The nut is 3-4 inches long and has a very hard, brown shell which takes a fine polish.  It has many names, including vegetable ivory.  There are no cracks, breaks or nicks in this piece.  The sewing kit inside includes a spool with 2 colors of thread and a thimble.
